I did my first market with Julia and Ilka, organisers of the wonderful Urban Makers markets and online shop this Easter at the Ecology Pavilion in Mile End which was a busy market day.

Now for the month of June and half of July ( until I go on holiday : )) ) dragondesigns has been at the Old Spitalfields Market on Wednesdays and some Saturdays the next Saturday will be July 6th. It’s a beautiful market and its been good to reach a more international customer as its defintely on the tourist trail map. Although working amongst a too tempting selection of food stalls is pretty hard on the waistline!

For the first quarter of this year I was very fortunate to be involved with this collective based in hackney, of course! and had a great time working with the wonderful founders Nadien Klages and Ellie Pearce. As makers themselves making up-cycled children’s wear they had a good knowledge on how to curate this pop-up shop with over 50 other women makers all with an ethical and sustainable approaches to their there practises.
